LEARNING BY LAUGHING: a humorous workshop for language and culture

Not only awareness of unique cultural aspects can be created in a substantial mediation framework, but also of the common use of language itself. Therefore, I was happy to design an educational program to assist students in acquiring a grasp of a new language in a quick and humorous way: “Learning by Laughing” (German: “Lachen und Lernen”). In an expert magazine for mediation I introduced this methodology as

“[…] a mediative workshop which was created for enabling students to gain a quick grasp of appropriate vocabulary in either English or German, accomplished in an orderly yet humorous way.”
